Agreement and operator

These Terms of Use apply to NextCoach, provided by Software Deck Pty Ltd. By downloading, accessing, or using NextCoach, you agree to these terms. If you cannot legally agree, a parent or legal guardian must agree and supervise your use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Intended purpose

NextCoach is a general fitness, wellness, planning, and reflection tool. It is not intended as a medical device or healthcare service. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent, monitor, predict, prognose, or cure a disease, injury, disability, or other medical condition.

NextCoach does not provide medical, nutritional, psychological, pharmaceutical, legal, or other professional advice. In addition to using NextCoach, consult a doctor or another appropriately qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions or changing exercise, diet, recovery practices, or supplements. The full health and AI disclaimers form part of these terms.

Automated and AI-assisted output

Deterministic software rules produce NextCoach recommendations and reviews. Where supported, an on-device AI system may explain an already-determined result. Automated and AI-assisted output is generated from limited records, is not reviewed by a professional, and may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, misleading, or unsuitable. It does not guarantee any result.

You must independently assess whether an action is appropriate for your health, ability, circumstances, and local environment. Do not rely on NextCoach for medical, emergency, safety-critical, legal, financial, or other high-impact decisions.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for information you enter, the decisions you make, safe exercise technique and equipment, compliance with applicable law, and obtaining appropriate professional advice. Do not misuse the app, attempt to defeat its security, interfere with other users or systems, or use it to cause harm.

Records, imports, and widgets

Scores, trends, plateau detection, generated explanations, and forecasts are estimates based on available and sometimes incomplete records. They may be inaccurate and do not guarantee an outcome.

Synced or imported NextRep and NextMeal records may be incomplete, delayed, outdated, edited, or interpreted differently after an app update. Automatic local sync is checked when NextCoach opens or returns and is not guaranteed while the app is terminated. Review important values in the source app and do not treat NextCoach as the sole copy of your records.

Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets show a compact snapshot outside the main app. That snapshot can be visible to other people with access to your device and may remain unchanged until NextCoach opens and refreshes it.

Availability and changes

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided as available without a guarantee that every suggestion, calculation, stored record, feature, or service will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Do not rely on it as the sole record of important information. Features may change, be suspended, or be withdrawn.

Platform services

Apple, Google, device manufacturers, operating-system providers, and any app used to import records are independent providers. Their services and terms may apply separately. Software Deck is not responsible for those providers except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Liability and mandatory rights

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies a consumer guarantee, statutory right, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified. Subject to those mandatory rights, Software Deck is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, lost data, lost opportunity, or harm caused by reliance on an unsuitable suggestion to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and disputes may be brought in the courts of Queensland. This choice does not deprive you of any mandatory protection or right to bring a claim that the law of your country, state, or territory of residence gives you.

Changes and contact

You may use the app only where lawful and in compliance with applicable platform terms. These terms may change when the product’s capabilities or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
